I look forward to photographing this sweet family of four every year, and this time was no different. They chose a morning session at Montgomery Bell State Park, opting for a time when their little ones would be full of energy and happy. While golden hour is a favorite of mine for its magical light, the most important thing is ensuring that children are at their best—and they certainly were!
This park holds a special place in their hearts, as they often visit to play in the creek, building dams and having fun as a family. It’s always such a joy to photograph families in spots that have personal meaning, and this one was no exception. The peaceful creek and their love for this place made the session feel relaxed and full of joy.
